PHOTOGRAPHY

Professionally, I specialise in Character Portraiture, Architecture, and Events. My photographs have been published in books, international publications including National Geographic Magazine magazine*, Hello; People, and regional publications such as The Straits Times, Lianhe Zhaobao, The Business Times, Asia! Magazine, FHM Singapore, and Tiger Tales. A series of architectural photographs of iconic buildings in Singapore was presented in a two-month solo exhibition curated by Vanini Belarmino; entitled Intimate Moments 1: ICONS (2012), it was presented at the Fullerton Heritage Gallery.

In addition to professional work, I’m a FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER –  in 2015, I was one of 10 Singaporean contemporary artists exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery, London as part of the Prudential Singapore Eye exhibition. This series on WIRES was also exhibited at the ArtScience Museum (in a six-month group exhibition), and at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in a month-long solo exhibition. My passion for jazz music led to several artistic collaborations with jazz musicians, and our multimedia work (where I contributed the photographs) was included in VIVID Sydney 2014.

The Legendary Humble Rooster

A French story-teller extraordinaire with keen powers of observation who has traveled the planet far and wide, living in many countries along the way – from the remote island of Palawan, Philippines where she grew up, to Venice, Turkey, Egypt, USA, Myanmar, Vietnam, Morroco… even riding a hippopotamus in the Congo – had made it a point to study the habits of the Rooster. Afterall,le Coqis the national symbol of France.

It was in Singapore where she spotted – incroyable mais vrai – a humble rooster. This site has been named in honour of that extraordinary, magnificent and rare creature – the Humble Rooster.
